The KIS individual food packets are intended to be used in the KIS Compost Tea Brewer as a nutrient pack for compost. We have tested these foods to ensure they provide the proper amount of nutrients and sugars for the beneficial bacteria and fungi without causing the tea to go anaerobic.

It is important to use high-quality compost with these foods in order to get good results. After all, you only get out what you put in. If you don't use compost that is high in biological diversity, you won't get a quality tea at the end of your brew.

Each individual food packet provides enough nutrients for one 5-gallon brew (compost not provided).

For larger orders, our foods are available in bulk for $3.00/lb or $100 for a 50 lb. bag.

Minimum bulk orders for foods is 5 lbs.
